I've been asked recently if there are any good fiction/prose internet boards available. I seem to recall someone posted a link to one that was recommended, but can't find it at the moment. Anyone got any suggestions?

Also, what about books on the subject of fiction writing--anyone got any recommendations?

There are already a list of great books on writing fiction in the reading list.

ACK! Where is the reading list?

This deals almost exclusively with poetry, though.

Look here:

Bottom of the page, 3 books.

By the way, you may want to get Béla to reinstate the Reading List link that once existed at the top of every forum page.

I'd forgotten those were included in that part of the list. Senility is encroaching faster than I'd thought. Thanks.

The link was

http://www.zoetrope.com

Fiction galore. Nice site. And it's owned by Coppola. Francis Ford, that is.

E.M. Forster's Aspects of the Novel, although rather dated now (1927), is still an interesting introduction to basic components of a novel.

Thanks, Scavella and Nanphi; I'll pass the info along to the party who asked. Much appreciated.
