Firstly, I hope you enjoyed your birthday the other day.

Secondly, I'd like to pat you on the back for all the hard work you have been doing. I have been browsing around the forums lately
and I have noticed that you have posted crits in General, both the C&Cs, in Scansion Mansion, Love, Experimental, and High Critique. And I must say that I like your style of critiquing.
You are harsh when harshness is warranted and kind when kindness is needed. You also, more often than not, not only
point out the problems in a poem but also provide suggestions
as to how the poet might rectify those problems. Good work.

Second that.
I've been watching your name pop up everywhere - your crits are always excellent, honest and tempered with kindness.

Good job, K.

Saw this thread with my name on it and instantly assumed it was a gripe - heart palpitations and the sweats set in and then *sigh of relief* saw it was a pat on the back. Thank you for your high words of praise. They mean much - especially coming as they do from two such high posters, excellent critters and good poets.

(Aren't we all just so sweet and nice to each other!)

Third that.

Wixx, you crit with constructive and helpful advice. You are good at tempering your comments or using humour to allow someone to get the message without cutting their wrists. You take the time to make suggestions as well and you must go through an impressive number of crits a week.

Keep up the good work.

Al.

Thanks Alasdair. I am fortunate to have the sort of job that allows me to spend an hour or so a day enjoying PFFA. Of course, my boss may have a different take on things:p

I feel dipping into PFFA gives me a spur of creativity and energy. However, I haven't exactly raised this issue with my boss :)

Keep up the good work.

Al.
