Roge, this is especially for you.

My workmate today sent me a link to a poem that she thought was amazing, and she wondered if I'd like it. I thought PFFA would appreciate the depth of emotion portrayed in this piece (sniggers nastily).

I Love You

You're kissable and cuddly;
You're lovable and sweet;
You thrill me every minute,
And sweep me off my feet.

You're charming and disarming,
Desirable and true.
You inspire and impress me,
And that's why I love you!

Compliments of http://www.electpress.com/loveandromance/page3.htm

Anyone care to crit? :D

Rachel

Bloody hell Rachel. What about my diet! I have never had so much sugar coated sweetness in only eight lines (nine if you count the title) in my life.

Perhaps deep down your workmate actually meant this as a subtle (for her) hint of her feelings for you. Just to put another edge on the office relationship :p .

And talking of depth; I wonder if you could dampen the soles of your feet as you wade in the pool of her intellect. Is she blonde?

I Love You
**I like the simplicity of the title.

You're kissable and cuddly;
**I read this as being childlike and fat

You're lovable and sweet;
**sort of like a chocolate Barbie

You thrill me every minute,
**well perhaps a blow-up Barbie sex doll

And sweep me off my feet.
**If only you had a better job than being an office cleaner

You're charming and disarming,
**Give me my arms back!

Desirable and true.
**You are rich and I believe your bank manager

You inspire and impress me,
**Well hung?

And that's why I love you!
**Enough already - where is the sick bag...

That she is. It's not even a bottle job, unfortunately.

And suddenly, "workmate" has taken on a new meaning. Thanks, Roge.

LOL

No worries Rachel. I like to keep the inter-office relationships 'fresh'. ;) Stops the days from being too boring; though with your workmate I don't think any day would be. Keep the anecdotes coming.

Perhaps I should write her a poem? Imagine the sort of crap I would get away with.

No wonder I work on my own!

Roge,
I will keep an eye out for your deeper/emotionally inept version!!!

Rachel,
I can't imagine the joy you feel each day as you see this person coming towards your desk ;)

Sorry to miss the point as usual, but is that co-worker or cow-orker? Regards / Dunc

As opposed to an unnatural blonde cookala? :)

I have a friend who describes herself as an airline blonde - see if you can guess why.

Airline blonde? Um, cos it's kinda brunette past the 'airline?

I should clarify:
My cow(orker) is incredibly nice and sweet. She's one of the most considerate colleagues I have ever had. If she's thirsty, she'll buy me a drink. If she's tired, she'll ask me if I want a break.

However, she's exceedingly stupid.

And Kristi: she sits next to me. :D

Airline Blonde --- as in...

Airline blonde - has an in-flight recorder - aka black box.

Bit crude I know but this came from a very proper lady who was obviously bottle blonde. :)

Exactly. Perhaps I should've said I was an unbottled blonde.
