IM me, you know you want to.
I'm boba3579 on AOL (AIM).

Everyone should post their AIM addresses here, and state whether or not they actually ever load their IM client.

I load mine frequently to harass Sestina, who also loads hers frequently, to become the subject of my harassment.

Of course, I could just click on each individual user's profile, and see if they have specified an AIM handle, but that's far too time consuming and silly.

Or, people could use the chatroom Bela's provided right here (http://www.everypoet.net/~everycom/phpchat/).

Mine loads automatically and I rarely bother to switch it off. I use it mostly to exchange poetic wisdom with rachelb (oh, and of course to get the latest 'coworker' stories as they happen!)

I use a funny little thing called Wal-Mart Connect...a cheapened version of AOL, I'm ALWAYS on messenger when online-- and whether I choose to take a moment and let the world know I am "Away" or "Busy" -- I cannot hide !!!

What is written without effort is in general read without pleasure, as Sam Johnson said when asked about Chat. Regards / Dunc

I have AOL IM for about half of my on-line time, but I ignore or reject most invitations to chat unless I recognize the "handle" of the person sending it, or they are already on my buddy list. All it took was accepting an invitation from one pervert a couple of years ago to cause that. (Still shuddering over that one) If you've attempted to contact me and I rejected it, that's why.

E-mail me first. I'll send you an application for friendship. Proven references and a background check are required. I'll get back to you and let you know if you've made the cut or not.

Oh. And it's earthshoesalways (Yes, I know it's stupid username. It was born of a moment of frustration after every other version of the name I wanted seemed to be taken.)

Perverts are actually quite interesting to talk to. Any perverts are welcome to IM me.

Perverts are actually quite interesting to talk to. When I get a random perv IM I usually say, "Why don't you ask me something? I already told 50 people my ASL -- why not just strike up a conversation?" Inevitably their conversation starters combine the word "nekked" with a poorly placed verb.
