Check out what your recurring dream is all about at The Dream Dictionary (http://www.hyperdictionary.com). Click on "the dream dictionary" under the title icon and enter your personal brand of psychosis.

clown:
Seeing a clown in you dream, symbolizes absurdity, light-heartedness, and a childish side to your own character. The countenance of the clown is a reflection of your own feelings and emotions. Whether it is a happy clown or a sad clown, that will help guide you through how you may be feeling. The actions of the clown means your uninhibited nature. Alternatively, it is an indication of your thoughtless actions. If you have a fear or phobia of clowns, the clown may represent a mysterious person in your life who mean you harm. Somebody you know may not be who they appear to be. Or somebody may be pretending to be somebody they are not and are hiding under a facade.

Hmm.

Sounds like the Dream Dictionary's written by the same folk who write the Your Stars Today column over here. Sagittarians can expect a change of luck, for better or for worse &c. Regards / Dunc

O now that's just fun stuff!

adversely (naturally):

"Can't sleep because you're afraid clowns will eat you? You are not alone. If you suffer from the irrational fear of clowns and all things clown-like -- techinally known known as coulrophobia -- the Trib would like to interview you for a feature story."

or even better -- sweaters!

I wonder if there's a fear of sweaters--scary people who perspire profusely. Heh.

I've heard rumour of a club in London for people with a sweater fetish. Perhaps we could combine the two?

I've done a bit of clowning . . . on purpose . . . with make-up . . . and goofy mismatched clothes . . . and balloons . . . and a wig . . on purpose. . . (That was just not going to come out right no matter how I expressed it.)

At first, I was amazed by the mixed reviews. The presence of clowns seems to trigger strong emotions of all kinds, and not all of them positive. There really are people out there who are uncomfortable with the bigger than life, over-bright image. The fact that it was me--someone they knew and trusted didn't seem to make a bit of difference once the costume was on.

'Guess what a clown would represent in someone's dreams would directly correlate to how they feel about them when they are awake.

mary
no. I will not post pictures.
Aren't you relieved?

And I'm more afraid of people who don't sweat in sweaters than those who do.

There's a clown that lives down the street from my cousin. She's always out walking her dog in full regalia. Scares the crap out of my little relatives.

Are there kids who still like clowns?

I pity them more than anything, what a rough job that must be. Rest assured if one popped up from under my bed I'd piss myself something fierce.

What a picture--one half of the people running around screaming and getting all sweaty, trying to escape the other half chasing after them, wanting to fondle their wooly attire.

I wonder what it means, then, when this little fella (http://www.vulgarthemovie.com/images/vulgardrawing.gif) shows up.

(I didn't actually see the movie, just the short at the beginning of Clerks.)

*Reminded me of this old song:

FREAKIN' AT THE FREAKERS BALL

LEAD-IN:
There's gonna be a Freakers Ball,
Yes, yes, tonight at the Freakers Hall,
Yeah and you know that you're invited,
One and all.

C'mon babies… grease your lips…
Put on your hats, and swing your hips.
Don't forget to bring your whips.
We're goin' to the Freakers Ball.

Blow your whistle…bang your gong --
Roll up somethin' to take along.
Feels so good… it must be wrong –
Freakin' at the Freakers Ball.

All the fags and dikes, they're boogyin' together --
Leather freaks dressed in all kinds of leather.
The greatest of the Sadists and the Masochists, too,
Screamin' "Please hit me" and "I'll hit you".

F.B.I. dancin' with the junkies –
All the Straights swingin' with the Funkies
'Cross the floor and up the wall
Freakin' at the Freakers Ball.

Everybody is lovin' each other --
Brother with sister… son with mother.
Smear my body up with butter,
And take me to the Freakers Ball.

So pass that roach and pour the wine --
I'll kiss yours and you'll kiss mine.
I'm gonna boogie til I go blind --
Freakin' at the Freakers Ball.

Black ones, white ones, yellow and red ones --
Necropheliacs lookin' for dead ones.
The greatest of the Sadists and the Masochists, too --
Screaming' "Please hit me" and "I'll hit you".

Everybody ballin' in batches --
Pyromaniacs strikin' matches.
I'm gonna itch me where it scratches --
Freakin' at the Freakers Ball, y'all
Freakin' at the Freakers Ball.

I got a weird story for you, too.

sekhet, my buddy the cat, caught a little mouse the other day; the same day that I caught a giggle off of your "Eep!"

he kind of looked like this:
http://www.humboldt.edu/~bsa2/ZAPUS2.JPG

now what's weird is that sekhet, for some strange reason, usually eats the heads off of his catch (I've even found a head-less snake in the yard before!) but something was different with this particular mouse. It was very vocal. It kept screaming "eeee" every time it turned around and saw sekhet hot on his hiney. To the mouse, I said, "Oh, you're a messenger!" At which point my sweetheart instructed me to let it go, because it was a native, she said. So, I petted his little head, looked into his little black eyes, then told it not to bite me, just as it was starting to, then I let him go, and told sekhet to go get another one.

I'm not fibbing, and luck (coincidence) has become so common-place that the weird is now so normal that the normal is just weird.

All I can say is, I hope you don't have a clown under your bed, or a cat or dog that likes to bring strange stuff home.

had to share that'n.
