I've been spending some time in the Schooner lately following the threads there, largely because I'm contemplating posting a troublesome piece of mine there (they run, screaming for cover). I just want to extend a huge thanks to those who spend so much of their time offering crits in the Schooner. You probably know that you help not just the person whose poem you are critting, but also those who drop in the follow the thread. I have learnt a huge amount there, especially recently from Harry, John Boddie and Scavella (which is not to knock the others who have posted there -just that these have taught me a lot recently).

Thanks,all of you, for your time.

I'd like to second that motion! Reading through the more intense "workshoppy" threads have been a great help to me :)

::raises hand in tremulous manner::

Thanks, guys. Scavella, you're knocking me upside the head with your patience. It's fun, but it's also hard - and that's good.

You guys must be angels, or something.
But wait - we already knew that.

I've been spending a lot of time reading threads in the Schooner as well and it's not only a great learning tool but also fascinating as hell. Thank you all so much, really.

I'd like to 'fifth' that. I spent ages before registering just following the Schooner. It's absolutely brilliant.
