To mods and posters-
Poetry is an intangible that can not be dealt with, so why are we cutting up poems like 2nd year doctors. Poetry is a dive into the unknown. It is gift that we give to the world. How easy is it to be a moderator and judge others. That is way to easy otherwise we would all be mods. The hard part is being a poet, expressing your life experiences to the world. Poetry is neither right or wrong, it simply lives and breathes on its own. Now immediately I am the bad guy because I do not follow the mods rules for posting. I am the bad guy for challenging the posters. Judging on our brief history here in america we can not tolerate change or anything that goes against the norm. And soon after this post it will be destroyed and perhaps never seen by posters, which is fine because I will still pray for those ill fated mods who choose to turn a blind eye. You know we all in the same game, but many of us choose to ignore it. Why can't we collaborate with one another like so many other poetry sites I post my poetry on. Other moderators are more that happy to HELP, yes HELP their posters. All that goes for not am I right mods. I apoligize if I have offended anyone, I am simply expressing my views, unless that too has been erased. I know I have enough trouble so I will now go quitely. Thank you for your time and effort
GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!!!

I was nice. I moved this here. I could've moved it to the Outside.
A word to the wise:
Read the Posting Guidelines. (http://www.everypoet.org/pffa/faq.html) Please.

It's what we like doing.
Poetry is a dive into the unknown.
No, it's words. Arranged.
It is gift that we give to the world.
Hah! speak for yourself.
How easy is it to be a moderator and judge others.
It certainly gets easier with practice.
That is way to easy otherwise we would all be mods. The hard part is being a poet, expressing your life experiences to the world.
That's true.
Poetry is neither right or wrong, it simply lives and breathes on its own.
Mine doesn't. Maybe I need to punch some air-holes into my hard drive.
Now immediately I am the bad guy because I do not follow the mods rules for posting.
Who said you were a bad guy? A bad poet, yes, but not necessarily a bad person.
I am the bad guy for challenging the posters. Judging on our brief history here in america we can not tolerate change or anything that goes against the norm.
Most of the mods aren't actually American. Thank god.

I'd rather you saved your breath, frankly.
You know we all in the same game, but many of us choose to ignore it.
Yeah, but my checkmate beats your full house.
Why can't we collaborate with one another like so many other poetry sites I post my poetry on.
Because we don't like those sites and would rather hit ourselves repeatedly with herrings than become like them.
Other moderators are more that happy to HELP, yes HELP their posters.
I help posters. I helped you. I moved your poem to somewhere more appropriate, where it might get suitable feedback.
All that goes for not am I right mods.
Try to have your writing make sense.
I apoligize if I have offended anyone, I am simply expressing my views, unless that too has been erased.
Apoligize to the hand, the mod ain't listening.
I know I have enough trouble so I will now go quitely.
Why not go complete?
Thank you for your time and effort
GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!!!
Fuck GOD. Fuck all gods.
Just find somewhere else. I'm not inclined to explain myself to someone who has so completely missed the point of what we do, and shown such little willingness to understand.

Gee, between this and your verbose, misspelled, and ungrammatical e-mail to the mods whining about the "Merciless" Forum Guidelines, I'm beginning to think you aren't entirely comfortable here.
Tough shit.
"Poetry is an intangible that can not be dealt with"
Whoa. What kind of poetry do you write?
Seriously - and this is difficult, given what you've written - consider rethinking your approach to creative writing; you'll be a better writer for it.

I hate to burst your bubble, but this is a very respected site whose tough love approach to poetry is what sets it apart from the other thousands of sites on the web devoted to poetry. More than once, I have seen this site defended by the moderators of other sites as well as other established poets.
They do not coddle you here. They do not make it personal here. What they do here is focus on the task at hand and stated repeatedly throughout the guidelines if you bothered reading them. What they do here is try to improve your craft through criticism of your submitted works. Nothing more, nothing less. Noone on this site pretends that this site is anything but devoted to the imrpovement of poetry as a craft.
When I went to NYU. The first week I was aware of a few things.
1) I was offered more weed than I could ever possiblys smoke in a lifetime.
2) Everyone has a portfolio. It contains either:
a. Photos and headshots because everyone was an aspiring model/actor; or,
b. Horrible poetry, because everyone was an aspiring writer/poet.
3) I didn't like portfolios.
If you submit to so many other sites, what brought you here? You seem to be happy with the other sites. So why did you come here? Ask yourself that, take a look in the mirror, and reread your own poetry with a critical eye.
And please don't bother the mods. It takes a lot of sucking up to get back in their good graces. Believe me, I know. :)

Reserve your blasphemies for the poetaster, Mr. Rutherford, and more of us will join you in them with enthusiasm.

OK, time to draw a line under this thread, I think. Apologies for the overreaction on my part (but not the blasphemy;)) - normally, I type out all that stuff and just don't hit the 'post' button.
