Picks of the Litter Critiques:

I've learned loads from the comments on the poems in High and Merciless, and these two threads represent some of the best I've seen as of late:

In Merciless: The Librarian Remembers the Great Burning

In High: Photograph: Burqa with Doves, Afghanistan, 1998 (revised)

I'm not sure if I should be going through the threads to pick out the very best of the critiques, but both of these poems received multiple good 'uns.

And-- I'm far from an expert here. What I really hope is that others will chime in with some nods. There's some good stuff on here, and nothing has been nominated for "Picks of the Litter" in eons.

cheers

Yes, please go through and pick out the best of the crits. And it might be nice if you explained why.

Sorry. You didn't think that even nominating people for Picks would be easy around here, did you?

Cheers.

In Charon's SarahJF & Harry have been having the most interesting discussion, not really crit but a fascinating look at process and thought.

I'd recommend it.
