I've been trying to sign up for a space at The Amplifier for a few months now, but every time I go to the "Sign up" page all I get is this:

Error

Can't open user database: Inappropriate file type or format



Are new members no longer being accepted, or is this a bug? Is anything being done to fix it?

Hi Empty Chairs. Sorry no one's gotten back to you about this yet. There's an error in the software, and Béla's aware of it. It is on his list of "things to do", but it's not at the top, so he will get to it, just not right away.

Meanwhile, the existing Amp sites are still there. You can't get to them from the main page, which is down because of the software error, but if you know the URL of the Amp page and type it in, you'll be able to get to the page.

Ok...I see this post has been here since may...It is now December and I have been getting the same error as previously stated. I do have a registered poetry page that now sreiously needs updating. Will this ever be fixed?
