Poems at the Poetry Free-for-all

Just getting my keyboard wet with this forum. Hello to everyone, I am looking forward to posting and critiquing poetry soon. I have been writing since 6th grade, free-verse, and I have been teaching English for 5 years.

Some Fav's of mine.
"The world is too much.." Wordsworth
Catcher in the Rye (first read the book my Freshman year in High school)
All kinds of music: I like good lyrics ;)
I love my Family (Wife, 2 boys, and a third one on the way)

This is a wonderful website for both poetry and writing in general, which, I'm sure an English teacher such as yourself will appreciate greatly.

warm welcome to PFFA. I taught thirteen to seventeen-year-olds English Language and Literature. Taught for 8 years in Singapore before moving to the States. See you around the forums. A thick skin is a useful accoutrement around here.

Hi Jee Leong,
Thanks for the welcome. I teach the same age range, 8th grade English, 10th grade English, and College Classes through the local community college. Makes for an interesting day, everyday! Yeah, I'm understanding the thick skin need. :)
