Hey all! Glad to have found a place where i can get writing and talking about poetry! I've posted a piece already and was just wondering where would be the place to post my critiques as i'm a relative newcomer and don't want to post in the wrong place again!

Hello and welcome,

The three mandatory critiques for each poem should be posted in the same forum as the poem. (Or the forum it gets moved to!) As well as these three mandatory crits you can post other crits anywhere you like, provided you feel that your crits are of the same standard as the other crits in that particular forum. Critting in High and Merciless, for instance is quite a demanding exercise and requires a lot of time, thought and knowledge. Read some other peoples crits to get a feel for the standards. And have a look at the Blurbs of Wisdom forum for some good advice on how to 'give good crit'.
