Hi who ever reads this. I have been writing on and off since I was a teen, and I'm 27 now. I have made the most fatal mistake of any aspiring writer, I used to not read much. I have been working to correct this problem.
I really wish to receive feedback thats more than just, "That's touching." or "Good poem. I liked it." This seems to be that place. I also need to work on my critiquing skills.

Then this is certainly the place for you. Have you read The New Posters' Orientation (http://everypoet.org/pffa/showthread.php?threadid=11138&poems)?

If
"I really wish to receive feedback thats more than just, "That's touching." or "Good poem. I liked it."
then you need to get in the habit of reciprocating with better critique than:
"I liked it. I just wish there was more to read, but that could ruin it too."
There are some guides to critiquing in the General forum in the Blurbs of Wisdom. They should help.

Hi Cornbread,
Welcome! You're in the right and best place for increasing your poetic craft. I've been in alot of different forums over the years and this by far is the best for someone to mature in his craft.
One bit of advice- put forth the same effort in your crits and you'll get what you're looking for. That's a promise!
Learn and have fun,
Jerry
