I've been receiving numerous emails referring me to another poetry site, drytear.com or something. It is somewhat annoying. Is there anyway to filter this?
Thanks!

The perpetrator has been banned and hopefully his access blocked. It helps if, when things of this sort happen, those who receive such PMs/e-mails will inform the moderators immediately. It had been going on for over 24 hours before anyone did; we can't solve problems we don't know about.
Blocking e-mails, though, will require you approaching the sender's Internet Service Provider.

I had the same problem- I got two PM's soliciting the drytear.com thing yesterday. I will be sure to tell the mods if it happens again. Thanks.

Yeah, I got one too. Didn't want to jump on them in case they were merely a one-off eedjit trying to be helpful or something. I'll report such spam immediately in future.

drytear.com
The name made it sound like it would be a good "Alternative to PPoP" link, but it doesn't even appear to be poetry-related. Weird.

Funny, it was poetry related the other day.

(I confess, I clicked on it)

Heh, me too. It had this annoying sign-up thingy that sat in the middle of the screen no matter where you went, and seperate categories for poetry, like "New Age" and "Dark". I rolled my eyes and left, shuddering.

I registered so I could see what it was about. Lots of vanity board stuff and not a bad alternative to PPOP. Lots of places to talk about just about anything. They seem harmless enough.
I couldn't decide to report it or not--it wasn't porn or somebody trying to sell me their latest book etc--so I let it go.
